What this site does
Politically Informed presents Canadian public political records (federal MPs, Edmonton city councillors, and Alberta provincial coverage in beta) with visible provenance. Every record links back to its primary government source. Every page shows when the underlying data was built. Missing evidence remains visibly missing rather than being hidden.
Our principles
- Source-first. Every record is traceable to a primary government source.
- Calm and non-partisan. We do not endorse politicians or generate editorial commentary about them. We show what was voted, said, spent, or declared.
- Transparent about limits. We disclose data freshness, coverage gaps, and the corrections process.
- Sovereign infrastructure. Account and AI-credential data are stored on hardware physically located in Edmonton, Alberta, operated by Infinite Futures AI Inc.

Soft-beta notice
Politically Informed launched in soft-beta on May 25, 2026. The data layer is intentionally read-only for visitors; subscribed users get access to AI-explainer features against the records. Coverage expansion (additional provinces, the Senate, federal lobbying registry) is on the public roadmap. We ship rough and improve in public rather than perfect in private.
